So far in my teaching practice I have avoided using projects as to me it seems a tedious job to invent and carry out a project in a form that it should take. I have some experience with working with elements of this approach or some variations which are called mini projects by authors of coursebooks. These were usually posters about typical Polsh or British festivals or recording mini videos to present a particular set of vocabulary. In the state school where I work unfortunately this approach is teased at and diminished. I think that most teachers lack knowledge and experience to use this approach to the benefit of the students. However, after the classes I decided not to give up because the examples presented prove it is possible to implement really good, close to life projects. I have an account on the e - twinning platform and I have already done a few projects. With the knowledge and support I got in the didactics class I believe I am doomed to success. I think the fusion of my gimnazjum with primary school may turn out to be an opportunity in this case Maybe I should try and find some mates to cooperate among the new team of teachers? Definitely, I will try to look for new ideas and inspire my students to come across with excellent ideas for authentic projects.
